Tampa Rays advance to World Series winning game seven 3-1.

Game seven was everything it was suppose to be except the Rays won Ouch! Jon Lester and Matt Garza locked up in a duel with Garza winning in the end. Garza beat Lester in game 3 9-1. What a series Garza had with a record of 2-0, pitching thirteen innings and giving up just two runs.

Dustin Pedroia put the Red Sox up early 1-0 with a first inning home run. Little did we know that was all the scoring the Red Sox were going to get.

The Rays got to Lester in the fourth with a double by Evan Longoria scoring Carlos Pena from first. The Rays took the lead for good in the fifth inning on a run scoring single by Rocco Baldelli. Willy Aybar hit a solo home run in the seventh for a 3-1 Rays lead.

Garza kept the Red Sox bats quiet all night.

All I can say is good luck to the Rays in the World Series.

Red Sox 1 Rays 3, Rays win series 4-3 advance to World Series
